Deception instead of a moratorium: Ukraine’s NSDC keeps businesses under the threat of inspections and law enforcement
22.07.2025 - 06:38During the ongoing invasion, Russian forces are actively and effectively using North Korean Type-75 multiple rocket launch systems (MLRS) on various fronts.
This was reported by a senior lieutenant of the Ukrainian Armed Forces with the call sign “Alex.”
According to him, “the method is quite simple and effective”: the MLRS is compact, so Russian troops position it within tree lines, approximately 5-6 km from the front line, fire a salvo, and then pull it back.
“The system is small, and if it’s not loaded with ammunition, it’s almost impossible to destroy — unless by a direct hit. The launch rails can be quickly repaired or replaced by towing the system to the rear. The ammunition is also relatively small in size compared to systems like the BM-21,” the officer added.
It is also worth noting that, according to The Sunday Times, China may be supplying Russia with ammunition disguised as North Korean.
Additionally, Alex previously reported that Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups (DRGs) have started targeting Ukrainian military vehicles in Pokrovsk with gunfire.
