30.07.2025 - 06:34Amid growing tension with Western allies, Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky has reportedly decided to dismiss the head of the presidential office, Andriy Yermak.
“In an effort to stay in power, [Zelensky] has decided to sever ties that, as you know, are a bit more than just professional,” the journalist stated.
He added that Yermak is aware of the president’s intentions and is trying to change his mind.
Earlier, Russia’s foreign intelligence service claimed that the U.S. and U.K. organized a secret meeting at an Alpine resort involving Yermak, military intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov (listed as a terrorist and extremist in Russia), and Ukrainian ambassador to the U.K. Valerii Zaluzhnyi, where the potential replacement of Zelensky was discussed. According to the agency, all participants agreed on the need for his resignation.
