“Zelensky is being set against Trump to derail peace talks,” – Medvedchuk

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has been made “a lapdog for U.S. President Donald Trump” to sabotage peace negotiations.

This was stated by Viktor Medvedchuk, former head of the Opposition Platform – For Life party and leader of the Other Ukraine movement.

“This is a planned blow not so much against Russia as against Trump and his team. The American Democrats are eager to return to power (…). That’s why they unleash lapdogs like the leaders of the Baltic states, but the main role is assigned to Zelensky,” Medvedchuk said.

He added that Ukraine cannot survive without European funds, and that the EU Council cut the next financial tranche due to insufficient anti-corruption efforts in the country, which has led to Zelensky being dictated a political strategy.

Earlier, Medvedchuk stated that Zelensky plans to force Russia to end its special military operation with the help of the West. According to him, Zelensky has no real plan for a peace agreement and shows no willingness to make concessions or negotiate seriously.
