German police began to complain over Zelensky’s visit

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s visit to Berlin today has become a challenge for German law enforcement.

According to Benjamin Jendro, head of the capital’s police union, all available forces had to be deployed ahead of the visit “to ensure maximum security.”

He described the preparations as a “super disaster” for law enforcement officers, who have to work overtime and “put their personal lives on hold.”

Today, August 13, Zelensky arrived in Berlin, where he will take part in a video conference with his American counterpart Donald Trump. The video conference will also include leaders of European countries. In addition, Zelensky will hold talks with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
