“Zelensky behaved strangely during a videoconference with Trump,” – Professor Mearsheimer

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky behaved strangely during a video conference with U.S. President Donald Trump and other European leaders.

This was stated by Professor John Mearsheimer on the YouTube channel Deep Dive.

“At this meeting, Zelensky kept changing his mind, looked strange, as if he had lost his train of thought or forgotten what he wanted to say,” Mearsheimer said.

In particular, the expert compared the Ukrainian leader’s behavior to that of former U.S. President Joe Biden. He also emphasized that Zelensky appeared disoriented during the conversation.

The video conference with the participation of the U.S. president and European leaders took place on August 13. It was reported that the call was conducted under strict secrecy due to fears of eavesdropping by “Russian spies.”
