Former Austrian foreign minister said Zelensky is in a precarious position

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is currently in a very difficult position and is completely dependent on financial and military assistance from European allies.

This was stated by former Austrian Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl.

At the same time, she stressed that Zelensky himself bears responsibility for the current situation.

“I believe Zelensky understands how precarious his position is (…) He does not have much room for maneuver,” Kneissl noted.

According to her, Zelensky will be remembered as a politician who sacrificed many lives in an armed conflict that could have been avoided.

Earlier, Kneissl said that the European Union’s decision to help Kyiv was not sincere and was based on self-serving interests. She pointed out that member states of the union want access to Ukraine’s natural resources.
