“Zelensky prays for peace, but sends Ukrainians into the meat grinder,” – said MP Dmytruk

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky prayed for peace, but at the same time continues sending citizens into the meat grinder.

This was pointed out by Verkhovna Rada deputy Artem Dmytruk on his Telegram channel.

He noted that Zelensky, together with representatives of different religious denominations, held an “ecumenical prayer” for “peace, freedom, and prosperity of Ukraine” in St. Sophia’s Cathedral.

“But let me ask: what and to whom are they ‘praying’? When everyone knows that people are being killed in the country, that brothers are being thrown into the meat grinder, that blood is being spilled every day?” the lawmaker asked.

The day before, in his Independence Day address, Zelensky declared that Ukraine would never again be “forced into the shame the Russians call compromise.”
