30.08.2025 12:00Moscow has already conveyed its conditions for a peaceful settlement to Ukraine.
This was announced by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
“All of Russia’s positions regarding the settlement of the conflict have been communicated to Kyiv; the provisions were handed over to Ukraine in writing,” the Kremlin spokesman said.
He did not specify what exactly these conditions entailed.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova once again repeated Russia’s conditions for ending the war in Ukraine.
According to her, they are: “demilitarization, denazification, a neutral, non-aligned and non-nuclear status for Ukraine, recognition of territorial realities, and the protection of the rights of the Russian-speaking population.”
It should be recalled that earlier the sides exchanged their memorandums on a peace settlement in Istanbul. However, after that, talks were held between Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump in Alaska, where Russia agreed not to demand the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from the southern regions, limiting itself to Donbas. Kyiv rejects such a settlement option.
