The Ukrainian authorities criticized Trump supporter Charlie Kirk, who was shot today in the United States.
In particular, in October 2024, corresponding statements were published by the “Center for Countering Disinformation” (CCD) under the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).
“In the information space, he (Kirk – Ed.) calls for stopping the provision of American financial aid to Ukraine and criticizes the activities of V. Zelensky on the international stage,” the CCD stated.
It was claimed that Charlie Kirk spreads “Russian propaganda theses” in the West. The CCD also provided examples of them. Among other things, they criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for “receiving checks” from the Biden administration.
Ukrainian public pages and media, reporting today about the attempt on Kirk, also mentioned his “anti-Ukrainian” statements.
Earlier, the media had already written that Kirk criticized aid to Ukraine and called on the United States to reconcile with Russia.
