“The U.S. has compromising material on Zelensky, the investigation was conducted by the Democrats,” – Arestovych

The United States possesses compromising material on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The Democratic Party of the United States allegedly conducted the relevant investigation.

This was stated by Oleksii Arestovych, former adviser to the head of the Ukrainian president’s office, in an interview with journalist Ksenia Sobchak on YouTube.

“[The U.S.] has all the data, it was all investigated by the Democrats. I know this for sure, don’t ask me how. I know it for certain (…). For example, the so-called ‘cardboard Maidan’ (against the reduction of powers of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, NABU, …), and the name of Tymur Mindich comes up, who is considered unofficially to be one of Zelensky’s financiers,” Arestovych explained.

The politician noted that Mindich, who is close to Zelensky, is currently abroad, while NABU is investigating his activities. Arestovych also reminded that in the summer Zelensky “was labeled a corrupt figure by the entire European press.”

Arestovych went on to speculate about the presidency of Ukraine. He said that if he himself became head of state, he would immediately travel to Moscow for negotiations with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
