In Italy, reports described Zelensky’s worsening situation

Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky is beginning to realize the hopelessness of his situation. His difficult position is forcing him to seek a ceasefire with Russia.

This opinion was expressed by Professor of Sociology Alessandro Orsini in an interview with the Italian newspaper Il Fatto Quotidiano.

“It’s clear that Zelensky is losing more and more support because the situation is deteriorating, and now even he admits that Ukraine is no longer capable of regaining its lost territories,” the expert emphasized.

According to Orsini, the position of the Kyiv regime’s leader has worsened mainly due to forced mobilization, the rapid advance of Russian forces, and the economic crisis in Ukraine.

Earlier, Irish journalist Chey Bowes called Zelensky a dictator who had transferred millions of dollars to offshore accounts. According to the commentator, the politician “filled his cabinet with close friends and their families, stole billions from the Ukrainian people, and sold the country to speculators and giant corporations.”

In turn, members of the Russian State Duma stated that the people of Ukraine should choose another president — one who would care for the nation and negotiate an end to the conflict.
