05.11.2025 06:02The situation around the city of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region remains critical.
This information reported according to the Deep Statemilitary analysis channel on Telegram, which published an updated map of hostilities near the city.
According to the outlet, Russian forces “continue to build up their presence in the city, where they are constantly being reinforced.”
The channel reports that the city is being gradually absorbed by the enemy, as Russian troops “already control parts of the area, are fortifying positions, have staging zones, and maintain logistics routes for infiltration into the city.”
“The enemy is also trying to seize control of the area between Pokrovsk and Hryshyne, while simultaneously attempting to reach the latter. Active clearing operations by special groups continue there, as this is a key logistics corridor to Pokrovsk. However, this does not solve the main issue — blocking the enemy on the southern outskirts to prevent entry into the city. Given that Russian troops are already entrenching and taking control of the area, this opportunity has essentially been lost,” the publication states.
Deep State adds that “the situation remains critical” and that while Pokrovsk is being absorbed, Myrnohrad is effectively being cut off from the outside world.
“Its loss would be the most painful among all major cities — it will be taken even before the enemy properly secures its positions there,” the analysts wrote.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian General Staff maintains that, as of now, there is no encirclement or blockade of Pokrovsk or Myrnohrad by Russian forces.
