This was reported by the German tabloid Bild.
All Ukrainians who arrive in Germany after April 1, 2025, will be treated as asylum seekers and will receive €180. According to the report, Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt and Social Affairs Minister Bärbel Bas reached this agreement.
Currently, 1.1 million Ukrainians live in Germany. They receive €563 per month in basic support (for single individuals). The state also covers rent, heating, etc. Asylum seekers, in turn, receive about €180 plus housing and other living costs.
