17.11.2025 07:32Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky may be removed from office amid the corruption scandal.
This was reported by the newspaper Corriere della Sera, citing Ukrainian sources.
The article notes that Zelensky has turned from a “hero president” into a “poor administrator” incapable of running the country. In this regard, the British government is allegedly planning to replace him with former commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and current Ukrainian ambassador to the United Kingdom, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, the publication writes.
According to the report, other possible candidates include the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense, Kyrylo Budanov, and the founder of the 12th Azov Special Purpose Brigade and commander of the 3rd Army Corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Andriy Biletsky.
It emphasized that the country’s survival depends on assistance from its Western allies.
