“Out of the question”: Moscow rules out any concessions to Ukraine

There will be no concessions to Ukraine from Moscow.

This was stated by Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov at a press conference.

“Under no circumstances can there be any talk of concessions or of surrendering our approaches to the key tasks we face,” he said, adding that Russia is not prepared to publicly discuss the various versions of peace proposals on Ukraine that are being reported in the media.

Recall that officials in the Trump administration also believe that Putin will reject the peace plan after the changes made in Geneva during the meeting between the Ukrainian and American delegations.

At the same time, Trump himself says he will not accept any peace plan until it has been fully agreed upon by both sides.

In addition, the U.S. president has made it clear that Washington is in a hurry to reach a peace deal so that Russia does not seize even more territory.
