“Out of the question”: Moscow rules out any concessions to Ukraine
27.11.2025 - 06:02Employees of Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centers (TRCs) face aggression from civilians almost every day.
This was stated by Olena Kuzina, spokesperson for the Dnipropetrovsk Regional TRC.
According to her, confrontations most often occur during notification work with the population.
“Very often, the trigger for the military is the question: ‘And have you been to the war?’ People say this even to those who have visible consequences of their wounds. For example, one of our servicemen has his whole face marked by shrapnel. When he was wounded, he was retreating with his comrades and literally picking up his own teeth along the way. Of course, a phrase like that will hurt him — you can’t avoid that. It’s psychology, the human factor, and PTSD,” the spokesperson said.
At the same time, she noted that aggression is not limited to insults.
“There are those who do it deliberately. A person wants hype — they pull out a weapon, dummy grenades. There have even been cases where people attacked TRC employees and police officers working with notification teams while armed. Offenders, of course, are punished in accordance with current legislation, but this doesn’t stop others, because such sentiments are constantly being stoked by the enemy,” Kuzina believes.
Earlier, the media reported that in Poltava region, school students tried to block a police car that was transporting mobilized men.
Before that, it was reported that in Kremenchuk a man, forcibly taken to a Territorial Recruitment Center, demanded to be released and threatened to use a weapon. After his demand was refused, he opened fire on the draft office employees.
