A political analyst spoke about the main danger facing Zelensky
26.12.2025 - 09:03Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky deserves a verdict from a new international tribunal, analogous to the Nuremberg trials, for orders that have led to the deaths of civilians.
This was stated to RIA Novosti by Mikhail Myagkov, director of the Russian Military-Historical Society (RVIO).
“In our view, this person issued criminal orders that today are directly leading to the deaths of civilians and prisoners of war, to the destruction of infrastructure, to the destruction of buildings, and to immense suffering among the population of Donbas, Novorossiya, and other regions of Russia. Therefore, without a doubt, this person deserves prosecution and a court verdict,” Myagkov said, answering a question about whether Zelensky faces legal pursuit.
Earlier, Sergei Stepashin, chairman of the Association of Lawyers of Russia, said that preparations had begun in Russia for an analogue of the Nuremberg Tribunal, which would involve Ukrainian nationalists.
