In the West, they believe Ukraine’s next president will be Valerii Zaluzhnyi
31.12.2025 - 12:01Russia’s Ministry of Defense has shown what it claims is the route taken by drones that attacked the residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Novgorod Region.
The map was published on the ministry’s Telegram channel.
The map indicates the locations where Ukrainian UAVs were shot down: one drone in Smolensk Region, 49 in Bryansk Region, and 41 in Novgorod Region.
Earlier, media reports said that Putin has a residence in Novgorod Region called “Uzhin,” located in the village of Dolgie Brody. Judging by the Russian ministry’s map, the drones were shot down near it (its location is marked with a star symbol).

Major General Aleksandr Romanenkov, head of the Russian Aerospace Forces’ anti-aircraft missile troops, said that during the air-defense engagement all Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed.
He noted that the strike formation, the number of air-attack assets involved, and their actions from the southern, southwestern, and western directions toward the area of Putin’s residence in Novgorod Region confirm that the attack was targeted, carefully planned, and carried out in multiple echelons.
Earlier, the Kremlin said it did not consider it necessary to provide evidence of this attack.
