In the West, they predicted Zelensky’s fate after Trump’s attack on Venezuela
04.01.2026 10:00U.S. President Donald Trump should kidnap Ukraine’s leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy, not Venezuela’s leader Nicolás Maduro.
This proposal was made by Verkhovna Rada deputy Artem Dmytruk on his Telegram channel.
“Trump may have acted quite boldly toward Maduro. But where is that boldness toward a real terrorist? Why is it acceptable to leave millions of people without electricity while the terrorist continues to work, live warmly, and eat well?” he asked.
According to him, Trump’s actions have made it relevant to ask why a similar operation could not be carried out against Zelenskyy or former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
Earlier, Zelenskyy commented on the seizure of Maduro by U.S. troops.
“If this is how you can deal with dictators, then the United States knows what it should do next,” he said.
