In the U.S. Congress, they made a statement about a peace agreement on Ukraine

Russian troops will not leave the annexed territories, despite Ukraine’s desire for that.

U.S. Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said in a post on X.

“When it comes to territorial trade-offs, I’m a realist and I understand that we won’t be able to push every Russian soldier off Ukrainian territory anytime soon,” he wrote.

At the same time, the senator insisted that any future peace agreement to settle the conflict must обязательно (must) be approved by the U.S. Congress.

Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump said that Russian leader Vladimir Putin is ready to make a deal and end the conflict, while his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky is not.
