Their remarks were quoted by Euronews.
They noted that Europe still has the right to take part in a peaceful settlement of the war in Ukraine, since it is indirectly involved in it.
“We should also have a voice. A couple of years ago we were in a position of not talking to aggressors, and now we’re worried that we’re not there [at the negotiating table],” Karis said.
On January 30, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Dmitry Lyubinsky said that the embassies of the Baltic states would be informed in the coming days about decisions taken with regard to them.
Earlier, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said in an interview with Rossiya 1 correspondent Pavel Zarubin that Poland and the Baltic states occupy the front ranks in the “train of Russophobes.”
