This information reported according to data from the National Bank of Ukraine.
Wages that Ukrainians receive from abroad fell by 15.6%. At the same time, other private transfers coming through official channels were roughly at last year’s level, declining by just 0.6%.
Overall, transfers sent via official channels were 7.3% lower than in 2024, while the flow through informal channels dropped by 25% compared with 2024.
In December 2025, money transfers declined by 6.3% to $0.7 billion.
Wages received from abroad fell by 23.3%, while other private transfers via official channels grew by 8%.
