Ukraine’s parliament refused to give up territory to end the conflict with Russia
10.02.2026 19:00The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) says it found a wiretapping device at the home of the head of a detective unit that investigates corruption in the defense sector.
This was stated in a press release by NABU.
The case involves alleged fraud in the procurement of drones. The head of that unit is also part of the investigative team in the case involving businessman Tymur Mindych.
According to NABU’s preliminary information, the listening device was installed by employees of one of Ukraine’s law enforcement agencies. NABU did not specify which agency.
It is worth noting that NABU previously had a conflict with the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), during which the two agencies detained each other’s employees.
In addition, NABU detective Ruslan Mahamedrasulov—who was arrested by the SBU and later released under a personal obligation—claimed that “beneficiaries” stood behind the case against Tymur Mindych, and that without political will the process could not have been carried out.
