Zelensky refused to withdraw the Ukrainian Armed Forces from Donbas in exchange for U.S. guarantees, Le Monde reports
26.03.2026 11:21Ukrainian lawmaker Maryana Bezuhla said she will file a lawsuit against Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi and former Joint Forces Commander Yurii Sodol.
The parliamentarian announced this on her Telegram channel.
Bezuhla explained that she had decided to sue Syrskyi over failures at the front and decisions that, in her view, led to heavy losses and the loss of control over parts of the country’s territory. According to her, she also will not forget General Sodol, and “a few others” as well.
The deputy said she would be watching the reaction of the Office of the Prosecutor General and law enforcement agencies to the lawsuit.
On March 19, it became known that Ukraine’s Prosecutor General’s Office had opened criminal proceedings against Bezuhla under an article concerning treason.
Bezuhla has repeatedly criticized decisions made by the leadership of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. For example, on December 16, she blocked the parliamentary rostrum while demanding Syrskyi’s resignation.
