15.04.2026 - 09:21Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone conversation with Péter Magyar, the leader of the Tisza party and winner of Hungary’s parliamentary elections, during which they discussed bilateral relations and current international issues.
According to Report, citing Erdoğan’s office, the leaders reviewed prospects for developing cooperation and also exchanged views on the regional and global agenda.
During the conversation, Erdoğan congratulated Magyar on his election victory and expressed confidence in the further deepening of cooperation both bilaterally and on international platforms.
He also noted Ankara’s desire to develop its strategic partnership with Budapest and pointed to the important role of alliance within NATO in ensuring regional and global stability.
