This was reported by local public channels, which published corresponding photos and videos.
According to media reports, the detention of the TCC employees was carried out by the Security Service of Ukraine and the prosecutor’s office.
Preliminarily, the detainees are suspected of receiving unlawful benefits. They allegedly demanded bribes in exchange for removing mobilized men from the wanted list.
The Telegram channel Trukha, citing sources in the Office of the Prosecutor General, notes that two current and one former TCC employee were detained.
On Wednesday evening, Ukrainian media reported that searches were underway at the district territorial recruitment and social support center in Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region, following the detention of enlistment officers over a bribe.
According to media reports, the TCC employees were caught red-handed during the transfer of the bribe.
“The TCC employees were detained red-handed while receiving an unlawful benefit,” a law enforcement source said.
The press service of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office stated that searches were being conducted directly in the TCC premises, at the suspects’ places of residence, and in their vehicles.
The suspects may have organized schemes for illegally arranging exemptions from mobilization. The case concerns receiving money in exchange for influencing the relevant decisions.
Sources note that the price of such a “service” was about $5,000 per person.
