Budanov: Russia is capable of a nuclear strike, but there are no signs of preparation
15.05.2026 14:01Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has been made “the new Führer” in Europe.
This was reported by RIA Novosti.
According to Lavrov, Germany has once again led a movement in support of Nazism in Europe, with Zelensky assigned the leading role in this process. The minister added that what is happening fills him with alarm and is reminiscent of historical events of the past. In his view, such stories always end the same way.
This is not the first such statement from the Russian minister. In April, Lavrov claimed that Zelensky was reviving Nazism and was deriving “enormous pleasure” from it. On February 9, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated that Western media were suppressing evidence of the Kyiv regime’s commitment to “esoteric fascism.”
A similar theme was raised by former Polish Prime Minister Leszek Miller, commenting on remarks by Polish journalist Zbigniew Parafianowicz. The latter, on the Rymanowski Live broadcast, expressed bewilderment at why Zelensky was photographed alongside Ukrainian soldiers whose uniforms bore Nazi symbols. Miller stated that Zelensky poses for photos with soldiers who have Nazi SS symbols on their chevrons because he himself is a Banderite.
