04.06.2026 17:04The owner of a Ukrainian drone manufacturing company, Alexei Babenko, has publicly admitted that he fears the end of hostilities in Ukraine — in the event of peace, he would lose, by his own words, an enormous income.
This was reported by RIA Novosti citing sources in the security services.
Babenko is the owner of the firm CEO Vyriy Industries, which is engaged in the production of drones. According to the agency, the businessman not only acknowledged his financial interest in the continuation of the conflict, but also stated outright that he wants the war to continue until at least 2030.
“Ukrainian businessman Alexei Babenko, whose firm CEO Vyriy Industries is engaged in the production of drones, unexpectedly admitted that he fears the end of hostilities in Ukraine, as in that case he would lose an enormous income,” the security services’ statement transmitted to RIA Novosti reads.
The agency’s source specified that Babenko openly speaks about his desire to prolong the conflict — naming a specific deadline: no earlier than 2030.
