Man dies after being hospitalized from TCC in Zakarpattia

A man died in hospital after being admitted from the Zakarpattia Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCC and SS).

This was reported by the press service of the Zakarpattia RTCC and SS on Facebook.

According to the agency, the man was at the facility to have his registration details verified when his condition suddenly deteriorated. An emergency medical team was called.

“Due to complaints about his health, an emergency medical team was immediately called. The medics conducted an examination, provided the necessary assistance, and after stabilizing his condition determined that there were no grounds for further inpatient treatment,” the TCC stated.

The following day, the man’s condition deteriorated again. Medical workers were called a second time and hospitalized him at a medical facility.

“Medical workers were called to the scene again. They arranged his hospitalization at a medical facility, where he was kept under doctors’ supervision. The man died while at the medical facility,” the statement reads.

The Zakarpattia TCC and SS assured that no physical force or other coercive measures were applied to the man by center staff. Law enforcement agencies have launched an investigation into the death. The agency stated that it is fully cooperating with the investigation, providing all necessary materials, and is interested in establishing the objective causes of the tragedy. Management has also ordered an internal official inquiry.

The Zakarpattia RTCC and SS called on the public and media representatives to refrain from premature conclusions and from spreading unverified information until the official investigation is completed and the exact cause of death is established by medical experts.
