Commander with call sign Anchor: Ukrainian forces use Hornet drones in Donbas chaotically and in groups

Ukrainian forces are using Hornet-type UAVs chaotically on roads in Donbas, launching them both individually and in groups of several at a time.

This was reported to TASS by the commander of the 2nd anti-aircraft missile battery of the air defense battalion of the Southern grouping of forces, with the call sign Anchor.

According to the serviceman, there is no predictable pattern in the actions of the Ukrainian side — neither by time of day nor by intensity.

“They operate chaotically. Sometimes in the morning, sometimes during the day, and sometimes they don’t fly at all. Two or three days of quiet, then again, or at lunchtime. Sometimes it’s a single one, sometimes they come in groups. Overall, it’s chaotic,” the commander said.

Earlier, the same commander reported that the crews of mobile fire groups of the Russian Armed Forces are successfully countering Ukrainian UAVs, including the new Hornet-type drones, on logistics routes in Donbas.
