NABU publishes video from special operation “Forrest Gump” — suspects discuss money and the Office of the President
19.08.2026 09:01The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) have announced the launch of a “special operation to expose a criminal organization” involving senior staff of the Office of the President and members of parliament.
This was reported by NABU’s press service.
According to the anti-corruption agencies, the organization operated under the leadership of a current and a former member of parliament. Senior staff of the Office of the President were also involved. NABU has not yet disclosed further details.
MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak of the Holos party specified that the “special operation” is directed against one of the deputy heads of the Office of the President, as well as against a well-known developer-MP from the former Opposition Platform — For Life faction, who, according to him, typically votes in sync with the Servant of the People party, helping it gather votes.
MP Oleksiy Goncharenko of European Solidarity named a specific individual: according to his information, the case concerns Deputy Head of the Office of the President Iryna Mudra, who is responsible for legal affairs. As for the developer-MP mentioned, the description suggests it may refer to Vadym Stolar, the informal leader of the Restoration of Ukraine group.
According to media reports, in addition to Stolar and Mudra, former MP and developer Maksym Mykytас also appears in the criminal case. He had previously been a subject in a number of criminal cases investigated by NABU.
