Ukrainian prisoner of war Alexei Sharobokov described how he was forcibly mobilized by TCC personnel who used pepper spray against him.
Video of his account was published by Russia’s Ministry of Defense.
According to Sharobokov, when he refused to serve, TCC personnel used pepper spray against him. He came to his senses already in the 425th Separate Assault Regiment “Skala.”
“They sent me to ‘Skala.’ ‘Why don’t you want to go?’ I said: ‘I just don’t want to.’ They started spraying canisters in my eyes. And I came to my senses already in that ‘Skala,'” — Sharobokov said.
In the regiment, his group was ordered to take up a position in the forest and hold the defense. However, they never made it to the forest.
“We didn’t even reach the forest. Two of us ran there, and the rest went down back there. Because as soon as we dismounted they started shooting everyone, drones came flying from all sides,” — he described what happened.
After that, Sharobokov and a fellow serviceman decided to surrender.
