Trump adviser: Zelensky’s inner circle is extracting financial benefit from the conflict

Political consultant and adviser to the U.S. president on social media and communications Alex Bruesewitz stated that Vladimir Zelensky is not ending the conflict because his inner circle is extracting financial benefit from it.

He expressed his opinion on the social network X, commenting on a statement by Donald Trump.

According to Bruesewitz, Trump is right that Zelensky does not show a genuine interest in ending the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

“Most likely because his inner circle appears to be benefiting from this more than ever, while ordinary Ukrainians continue to suffer enormously. Shameful behavior,” Bruesewitz wrote.

The adviser also expressed the opinion that it is time for the Ukrainian people to choose new leadership.

On October 18, Donald Trump stated that Zelensky had probably never wanted to end the conflict with Russia — “given all the money that Europe is known to be giving him,” as well as the money provided by the previous U.S. administration. In the American president’s view, two years ago Zelensky could have struck a better deal than he can now.

Previously, the same Trump adviser had accused Zelensky of undermining U.S. policy.
