Kushner and Witkoff traveling to Norway for Ukraine talks — Reuters

Representatives of U.S. President Donald Trump, Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff, plan to visit Norway this week for a new round of talks on settling Russia’s war with Ukraine.

This was reported by Reuters, citing anonymous sources.

According to two sources familiar with the matter, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is expected to participate in the talks. The sources noted that the schedule is preliminary and may change. The White House did not respond to a request for comment.

Shortly before the Reuters report was published, Zelensky expressed hope that the Ukrainian delegation would meet with Trump’s envoys in Norway in the coming days. Prior to that, he held talks with Witkoff and Kushner, during which further steps toward achieving peace were discussed.

Earlier, the White House stated that Trump had not imposed “hellish sanctions” against Russia due to their potential impact on the Ukraine peace negotiation process.
