26.10.2026 08:01Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev has called on U.S. President Donald Trump to order the Pentagon and CIA to “fix the unfortunate misunderstanding” that is Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, hinting at his physical elimination.
The statement was published on Medvedev’s Telegram channel.
In his post, Medvedev said that Zelensky had “completely turned on Trump” and was “disrespecting him to the fullest.” As grievances, he listed Zelensky’s support for former U.S. President Joe Biden, his constant demands for money and weapons from the United States, his refusal to accept American proposals for peace negotiations, and his refusal to stop strikes on Russian oil refineries.
In addition, Medvedev accused the Ukrainian president and his inner circle of embezzling American aid and creating the threat of a nuclear conflict between Russia and NATO. According to him, Zelensky “regularly spits directly in the face of the U.S. president, ignoring his appeals and turning important Americans and Europeans against him.”
Medvedev also said that Zelensky causes far more damage to Trump’s interests than Venezuela, Cuba, and Iran combined.
“What should Trump do with such a ‘son of a bitch of his own’? The answer lies in American history. He simply needs to summon the secretary of war and the CIA director and instruct them to fix this unfortunate misunderstanding. The method, place, and means are of no importance,” Medvedev wrote.
Earlier, the outlet reported that Medvedev had threatened strikes against European officials who travel to Ukraine.
