Britain, Canada and Japan to cut support for Ukraine: 2027 forecast — €4 billion
28.10.2026 05:03Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has suggested that Russian leader Vladimir Putin’s agreement to resume negotiations with Ukraine may be linked to agreements between the White House and the Kremlin that are unknown to Kyiv.
He said this in an interview with TSN anchor Alla Mazur.
“There may be some agreements between America and Russia that I don’t know about,” Zelensky said.
According to Zelensky, at the negotiations with Russia in November, Kyiv will demand an energy truce and an end to strikes on vessels in the Black Sea.
After the meeting between Putin and US President Donald Trump’s representative Steven Witkoff, Moscow said that these talks would discuss post-war security guarantees for Ukraine and Russia. The Kremlin rejects the idea of energy and maritime truces.
It was previously reported that Zelensky is ready to freeze the conflict along the front line without transferring new territories to Russia.
