Zelensky reveals territorial compromise options proposed by US

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has described what variants of territorial compromises the United States proposed at various stages of negotiations.

He stated this at a briefing following yesterday’s phone conversation between Finnish President Alexander Stubb and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre with Kremlin head Vladimir Putin.

According to the Ukrainian president, the US proposed several variants of territorial compromises. The specific list of these variants is not provided in the report.

Zelensky said there is no progress on any of the variants. He is ready to discuss the territorial issue only personally with Putin.

According to him, Russia links the issue of territories to the end of the war and security guarantees.

Russia has proposed that Zelensky come to Moscow for talks with Putin, but the Ukrainian president demands a meeting on neutral territory.
