Ukrainian entrepreneurs unable to access the electronic taxpayer cabinet

Since the start of the week, Ukrainians have been complaining en masse about the non-functioning electronic taxpayer cabinet on the State Tax Service website at cabinet.tax.gov.ua.

The resource does not load.

The outages are confirmed by specialized Telegram channels for sole proprietors and by Danylo Hetmantsev, head of the Verkhovna Rada committee on finance, tax and customs policy.

“Dear new heads of the STS, I have been receiving dozens of appeals from taxpayers about problems with the electronic cabinet since Saturday. Let’s start your reforms with something else. I ask you to immediately restore operation and communicate to people the reasons for the prolonged outage of the service and the timeframe for its elimination,” Hetmantsev wrote in his Telegram channel.

The channel “Accounting for Sole Proprietors” claims that “the taxpayer cabinet is dead.”

At the same time, the official tax service website tax.gov.ua is operating normally, but it does not say when the taxpayer cabinet will start working. The site only contains information that the service’s operation was suspended from 00:00 on October 24 until the morning of the 26th for scheduled and technical maintenance.

Now is the time for paying many taxes, and companies may face problems due to the non-functioning resource.

By October 29, legal entities must pay advance contributions for the transport tax for Q3, and on October 30 companies pay several taxes and fees at once for September and October.

There have repeatedly been reports of outages in important online services. For instance, in May last year there was an outage at the Ministry of Internal Affairs service centers due to unscheduled technical work. And in September it was reported that technical failures in Ukrainian banks had become more frequent due to Russian shelling.
