06.11.2026 05:32A meeting of the European Union, Britain and the United States on Ukraine in Brussels ended without result from the point of view of a possible settlement of the Ukrainian conflict.
This was reported by a diplomatic source in Brussels.
“No practical results from the point of view of a possible settlement of the conflict were achieved at the meeting,” he said.
The meeting took place on Wednesday, November 4, at the headquarters of the European Commission.
The Brussels portal Rapporteur, in turn, reported that the consultations in Brussels on Ukraine “fell apart” into a series of meetings. According to its information, instead of a general meeting, the talks consisted of a series of separate consultations between delegations of the European Commission, NATO, the US, Germany, France, Britain, the World Bank and Ukraine. At the same time, the US took part in them remotely.
Earlier we wrote that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke with White House special envoys Steven Witkoff and Jared Kushner about preparing a meeting of representatives of Ukraine, the US and the Russian Federation.
Witkoff reported that talks on settling the war in Ukraine would take place on November 10–11 in Abu Dhabi. Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov confirmed Witkoff’s statement.
We wrote about the prospects for a peaceful settlement of the war in Ukraine in a separate article.
