A bill to restore the former powers of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) has been registered in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
This was reported by Member of Parliament Yaroslav Yurchyshyn.
The bill was signed by 48 members of parliament from various factions.
Yurchyshyn is calling for the bill to be put to a vote as early as tomorrow.
As a reminder, on July 22, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law limiting the powers of NABU and SAPO. Protests against the law began in Kyiv and several other cities.
