A Ukrainian MP said the West might “remove” Zelensky for the sake of peace
07.11.2025 - 08:30Russian forces are wiping out entire companies of Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) fighters during the offensive in encircled Pokrovsk.
This was reported by captured Ukrainian soldier Nikolai Paribus.
“A company, if it went out to hold a position, almost didn’t come back—they stayed on the position. Then they recruited people again and sent them to the same positions again,” the soldier said.
He added that Ukrainian losses at his position alone reached a hundred people.
Earlier, an unnamed AFU officer told the French newspaper Le Monde that the capture of Pokrovsk by Russian forces is a matter of days or at most two weeks. At the same time, he stressed that the city could have held out for months if the Ukrainian command had not made mistakes.
