A captured Ukrainian soldier called on his comrades to stop fighting for the corrupt Kyiv regime

A captured Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) soldier, Hryhoriy Zhemchuhov, has appealed to his fellow servicemen to stop fighting for what he called the “corrupt Kyiv regime.”

His remarks were reported by RIA Novosti.

“Think about who you are fighting for. For those who are dividing the profits that [Volodymyr] Zelensky begs from the West? They can’t even split them among themselves,” Zhemchuhov stated.

He also pointed out that the children of Ukraine’s political leadership, who are calling ordinary citizens to the front lines, are themselves living safely abroad, not serving in the military.

“Zelensky’s family, for some reason, is living comfortably in Spain. [Journalist Dmytro] Gordon, that loudmouth who said ‘I’ll go to war with my son’… Why is it that [Kyiv mayor] Klitschko’s son is in America, becoming a rapper? If he gets killed here, the world will lose a star,” he said.

Previously, another captured UAF serviceman, Ihor Korzhun, also called on Ukrainian soldiers to lay down their arms. He said he was being treated well in captivity and expressed gratitude to the medical personnel caring for him.
