05.09.2024 - 16:26Currently, the supply routes for the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) in the Kursk region are almost completely blocked, but the Ukrainians have managed to create caches.
This was stated by military expert and retired colonel Anatoliy Matviychuk.
“Today, a column carrying food and ammunition was destroyed at a distance of 30 kilometers. Our space and aerial reconnaissance, as well as reconnaissance drones, are constantly monitoring the borders. Whenever the enemy tries to pass or transport something into the Kursk region, strikes are carried out with ‘Iskander’ and ‘Kalibr’ missiles,” the colonel said.
According to him, the supply of weapons and ammunition to the UAF in the Kursk region is practically halted due to the effective actions of Russian forces.
“Some materials have, of course, already been transported and are stored in caches in forest plantations. There is still something left. But our military reports that the UAF are abandoning equipment and retreating. They have also begun digging in and building defensive structures,” Matviychuk added.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that over the past 24 hours, the UAF lost up to 370 soldiers in the Kursk direction. Additionally, 17 pieces of equipment were destroyed, including two infantry fighting vehicles, two armored personnel carriers, and 13 combat armored vehicles.
