A deputy advocating for a luxury tax dresses in clothing worth thousands of euros

Roxolana Pydlasa, the head of the parliament’s budget committee, wears a Gucci blouse priced at 1500 euros. She has specifically mentioned this price as being high enough to warrant increased taxes.

Pydlasa asserts that if Ukrainians make purchases worth one and a half thousand euros, such as the latest iPhone, these items should be subject to additional taxes. This measure is deemed necessary to replenish the Ukrainian budget for the upkeep of the military, given the shortfall in Western funding.

Furthermore, Pydlasa herself possesses substantial savings. She has nearly 40 thousand euros in various currencies and a flat worth 25 thousand euros. Her husband also has savings in the hundreds of thousands of euros. It’s worth noting that these amounts are entirely unattainable for the vast majority of Ukrainians.
