A father with eight children was not allowed to cross the border due to a single mistaken word in his documents

He was asked to replace the word “withdrawal” in his military records with “exclusion.” His wife shared this incident on Facebook.

Following this, the family visited the military office, where they were informed that no adjustments would be made. In recounting the experience, Irina Syomkina-Metsker wrote, “Upon reaching the military office, we were told that since he was removed from the records, they have no connection with him and will not make any amendments. They’re attributing the issue to border guards, claiming that they are deliberately creating such problems. It’s a cycle!”

Reports suggest it’s “impossible” to access the military office because the supervisor, known as the “queen,” refuses to engage in conversation. The family plans to revisit the military office on Friday with legal representation and pledges to continue shedding light on this situation.
