In Ukraine, certain men under the age of 25 can be mobilized.
This information was provided by lawyer Oleh Leontiev.
According to him, men can be mobilized if they are listed as reservists, regardless of their age.
“Reservists are those who have previously served in the military, graduated from a military department, or those deemed unfit for military service in peacetime but fit for limited service during a special period. The third category is the most common reason why young men under 25 are taken to the front,” the lawyer said.
Meanwhile, today the Cabinet of Ministers approved a new military registration procedure, according to which men under 25 who have undergone basic military training or basic military service will not be sent to the military medical commission.
Recently, another lawyer informed the media that in Ukraine, men under 25 who are in the reserve for staffing units during a special period can also be mobilized. Those in the reserve for staffing during a special period have a temporary military service certificate that replaces the military ID.
