A man tried to leave Ukraine in a tank of vegetable oil

At the border with Moldova, Ukrainian border guards discovered a man hiding inside a tanker truck filled with vegetable oil, attempting to illegally leave the country.

This information,atuon reported according to a post by the State Border Guard Service on Facebook.

The man was found hanging inside the tank using specially made harnesses and safety straps. According to officials, he had submerged himself up to the chest in oil, and made the journey from Vinnytsia to the border based on an arrangement with the truck driver.

The man was detained and will now face charges for attempting to illegally cross the border. The driver was also detained for further investigation.

Previously, it was reported that a conscription-age man purchased fake documents for three fictitious children for €6,000, hoping to cross the border as a father of a large family. Border guards exposed the fraud, noting that the documents looked suspicious and did not match official formats.
