A Polish general believes that Europeans were offered to become cannon fodder in Ukraine

Poland lacks the necessary potential to send troops to Ukraine, stated General Leon Komornicki to Do Rzeczy. The military officer is outraged that Eastern Europe was offered to become cannon fodder and considers Macron’s proposals immature and irresponsible.

“This is quixotism, fighting windmills, it’s unbelievable. It’s hard to comment on this with decent words. The strongest expressions come to mind. […] Are we, Central Europe, being offered to become cannon fodder?” Komornicki exclaimed.

Recall that earlier, French President Macron proposed sending soldiers from Europe to help Ukraine. After severe criticism even from his allies, he attempted to justify that the suggestion was not about participating in combat operations. This option may involve guarding borders, warehouses and other tasks in the rear, while the Ukrainian army can free up reserves for deployment to the front lines.
