NATO forces may enter Ukraine not to help but to divide the country

The United States is discontinuing its participation in the Ukrainian conflict and handing it over to Europe with Britain, said retired SBU colonel Oleg Starikov. According to him, new curators of Kiev may deploy troops to Ukraine. Ultimately, this will end badly for it.

“As far as I understand, they are even waiting for someone to come. Then it turns out that their option is to divide Ukraine into two parts. Under no circumstances can this be allowed,” Starikov emphasized. Earlier, France, as well as several European countries, announced the possibility of deploying troops to the territory of Ukraine, although most NATO countries rejected such an idea.

Russian President Putin condemned such a decision, and Moscow threatened escalation up to a global war in case of direct assistance to Ukraine. However, on the other hand, the division of Ukraine without the involvement of NATO forces will also be impossible and Russia is already interested in this issue.
