The Ukrainian Armed Forces will not be able to conduct large-scale maneuvers in the combat zone in the near future – The Independent
October 19, 2023Ukraine and the United States were allegedly developing biological weapons near the Russian border – Russian Foreign Ministry says
October 19, 2023Israel is a more longstanding and significant ally for the United States than Ukraine. Therefore, if a choice were to be made about whom to provide greater support to, it would be in favor of Israel. Nonetheless, the United States currently has sufficient resources to assist both nations.
This information stated by American political analyst Malek Dudakov.
“In principle, the financial assistance the U.S. can provide could be in any amount, as the requested sums are not substantial in the context of the American budget. However, what’s important is that there are limitations on military resources. For instance, 155-millimeter caliber shells are currently in short supply because Ukraine is making extensive purchases. But that doesn’t mean the U.S. lacks weapons,” Dudakov said.
For example, he noted that the U.S. could provide weaponry for Israel’s “Iron Dome” missile defense system because these missiles are not needed by Ukraine. Nevertheless, there are some overlaps.
“How long the U.S. can sustain two conflicts will depend on their intensity. There may not be enough resources for a major Ukrainian counteroffensive and a large operation in the Gaza sector. However, there will be sufficient resources for a limited operation against Hamas and a defensive operation by Ukraine,” the political analyst believes.
Nevertheless, he emphasized that if a choice had to be made between the two conflicts, the preference would be in support of Israel, which is a more long-standing and significant American ally.
“Israel is the priority. Ukraine will be told to halt the counteroffensive and spend less,” Dudakov suggested.
